CHARITY UPDATE

Tonight as we gather for our second Equal Access For Autism gala event it is with gratitude and joy that we reflect on the journey that has bought us here. From
a simple conversation among good friends in May 2021 to this gathering of over 1000 supporters who share our commitment to raising awareness for autism and advocating for equal access for autistic people and their families.

With the unwavering support of our Board, the outreach efforts through our website, Instagram and Facebook, the generosity of our amazing sponsors and the wider community, we have witnessed a remarkable increase in awareness of autism and its challenges.

Our continued search for a suitable location for our first centre has been one
of diligence and determination, examining and evaluating many sites to ensure our specific criteria can be met. We are committed to our goal, not to just find
an exciting and safe space but to value every single cent that has been raised through our charity and ensure that we conscientiously select a site that responds to the challenges our autistic people face.

Among our achievements to date has been the success of our Laps For Love event held in December 2023. Over 800 attendees, including many autistic
people and their families were welcomed to a safe and inclusive space to enjoy autistic friendly activities and run laps with Collingwood legends and Melbourne celebrities. This great day was topped off with the heart warming presence of a SensorySantawhowasjusttherightamountofsensitiveness. Itwasdayfilled with magic and joy and we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting Laps For Love once again at Port Melbourne Football Club on December 1, 2024.

Finally, we would like to thank you for being here with us tonight to celebrate our achievements and reaffirm our commitment to continue advocating for equal access, understanding and acceptance of all individuals on the autism spectrum. Together we can and will make a difference.
